During 15 intense and exciting months, our Operations Graduate Program will give you a holistic view of our operational and logistic activities, including both the local and global perspective.

You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you.?You will experience several local and international on the job-rotations and work on business-critical projects developing your competencies for tomorrow.

Our Organization

Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE), a division of Volvo Group, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, haulers, excavators and compact machines. Volvo CE is currently undertaking a major strategic investment to expand its global production capacity for crawler excavators. As part of this initiative, a directional decision is taken to establish a new production facility in Sweden. The project is driven by the need to meet growing customer demand, enhance supply chain resilience through localized manufacturing, and reduce environmental impact by minimizing long-distance logistics.

By joining this Graduate Program, you won’t just benefit from the development opportunities it offers — you’ll also be an integral part of the project team building the new Volvo Construction Equipment Excavator factory in Sweden, from initial concept all the way to a fully operational site.

This is us – your new team

The project team for the new Excavator Factory consists of engaged professionals from different parts of VCE, Logistics, Communication, People and Culture, purchasing etc.
We have an all hands-on deck mentality where the culture is inclusive and everyone’s opinion and voice matters, regardless of topic.

Main activities and responsibilities:

This isn’t just about building a new factory, it is about building a new culture. While we bring strength, experience, and proven methods from across the Volvo Group, this project gives us a unique opportunity: to challenge old assumptions, work across functions in new ways, and build a data-driven, forward-looking setup from the start. We will shape new ways of working, build a modern, inclusive culture, and create a setup free from old limitations. From systems and structures to collaboration and decision making, everything is being shaped with the future in mind.

In this role, you will support various project workstreams, including Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, People & Culture and Finance, by providing data-driven insights to help make informed decisions. Your tasks will include collecting and analyzing data from systems such as SAP, conducting cost comparisons, and supporting validation of different options.

You will also play an important role in general project administration. This includes maintaining documentation, preparing clear and visually engaging presentation materials, and helping to plan and facilitate workshops and meetings. Your work will contribute directly to the progress and structure of the project, supporting cross-functional collaboration.

Together, we’re not only constructing a site, we’re setting the foundation for how we want to work, lead, and grow into the future.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone at the early stages of their career, with a strong interest in data analysis, business processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

We are looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a genuine interest in modern manufacturing and data-driven decision-making. You enjoy diving into details, collecting and interpreting data, and presenting well-grounded scenarios and recommendations to support the project’s direction. With a structured way of working and strong communication skills, you can collaborate effectively across functions and contribute to both the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the project.

You approach challenges with curiosity and an open, inclusive mindset, valuing input from others and seeing collaboration as a key to success. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where new ways of working are explored, and you're eager to learn and grow as part of a cross-functional team.

You communicate well in English, and you are not afraid to ask questions, take initiative, and learn as you go.

Required knowledge/experience:

* BSc or MSc in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources or another relevant field.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written), Swedish is a merit.
* Good understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
* Basic awareness/interest of Industry 4.0 / “Factory of Tomorrow” concepts.
* Maximum two years of previous full-time working experience, prior to or after graduation. Work during studies are not included.
* Valid work or study permit for Sweden if not a citizen.

Our team supports Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Buses, and Volvo Penta, working closely with the broader Service Market Logistics organization.
We lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;) process and are building PlanIT, our cloud-native planning solution on Azure, which will be the digital backbone of our operations going forward.

• Excited to grow your skills in Python, , Power BI, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Interested in learning and applying agile ways of working
• Comfortable communicating insights effectively in English to both peers and senior leaders
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys working with large datasets to uncover actionable insights. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management — whether from studies or work — is highly valuable.
Required background: University degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field.
Interviews will be conducted continuously – so if you feel you are the right person, please send your application today.
We are looking forward to welcoming you as soon as possible but you can also join a bit after the target start date.

Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future? If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.

What you will do

Do you want to make a real difference in an environment where quality, innovation, and leadership go hand in hand? At Volvo Construction Equipment, you will have the opportunity to lead a highly committed team – while also helping to shape the future of production technology. We are looking for two quality managers who want to develop both people and processes, and who are ready to take our component plant in Eskilstuna to the next level.
In this role, you will be responsible for one of our two quality areas: QA Product or QA Material. You will lead a dedicated team and collaborate closely with production, engineering, purchasing, and – sometimes – suppliers. You will be both a strategist and a coach, with a clear focus on improving quality and efficiency in our workflows.

As Head of QA Product:
* You focus on product quality throughout the manufacturing and assembly process.
* You work closely with engineering and production teams.
* You drive continuous improvements in processes and methods.

As Head of QA Material:

* You maintain dialogue with suppliers and collaborate closely with purchasing.
* You ensure that we receive the right materials at the right time – and at the right quality.

Regardless of role, you’ll work in an operation where safety, quality, and sustainability are core values – in a future-oriented factory currently undergoing rapid growth and development.

Your future team

You will become a key part of the quality organization at our component factory in Eskilstuna – one of Europe’s largest machining plants and a supplier of axles and transmissions to both Volvo CE construction equipment and certain Volvo Trucks models.
The site also hosts global functions, extensive product development, and our largest demo park with visitors from around the world. Here, you’ll work in an international environment, close to the forefront of technology, with short decision paths and great room for influence.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in both people and continuous improvement. You are communicative, analytical, and solution-oriented – with a strong commitment to creating the right conditions for others to succeed.

We believe that you have:
* Previous leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing or other flow-based operations.
* Solid knowledge of quality work and problem-solving methodologies.
* A coaching and inclusive leadership style.
* The ability to think strategically while acting pragmatically.

We value diversity, openness, and flexibility – to us, the right attitude and willingness to grow are just as important as formal qualifications. A university degree is considered a plus but is not required. You must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

What’s in it for you?

Working with us means:
* A leadership role in a forward-looking industry where you can influence and grow.
* Access to experienced colleagues, strong support, and excellent development opportunities.
* A culture built on Volvo’s core values – respect, inclusion, and sustainability.
* Opportunities to grow within the Volvo Group – both in Sweden and internationally.

With us, you don’t just build a career – you help build the future.
